5000 people. Adrenaline rush. Hearts Racing. People roaring.And that is exactly how I remember Airtel Run for Education 2014. City Centre was buzzing with people at 6 in the morning of all age groups and sizes, such is the spirit of Kolkata. Instead of sleeping in, people have come out and are supporting such a beautiful cause-Educating the future India.[one_half last=”no”]

Just imagine that running a marathon helps India to be more educated. I did and so should you run miles for it, and never stop. At least not till every child gets the education they deserve. Back to 30th November high spirited adults are prepared for the challenge in front of them. There were people walking, dragging themselves and taking breaks. But not once did it cross one’s mind to give up and go home.

It has to be one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and do you know what made me go an extra mile every time I got tired? There is someone out there waiting for an opportunity he isn’t getting.

It was tiring as hell *phew* but when we finished the race the performance by Usha Uthap made me forget about my aching leg. The satisfaction of contribution to the society is beyond my expression in words.

The event was organized spectacularly with water and glucose available at various stops and traffic in proper control. All in all something I would highly recommend for you to be a part of.

It’s time you give back to the society, because you can.

It’s a blast from the past you will never regret. You have my word on it.
