Calcutta South Round Table 17:
Calcutta South Round Table 17 (CSRT 17) is an 80G Registered Trust and a member chapter of Round Table India (RTI). CSRT 17, with its aim of providing social service all over India has been flourishing throughout from its very inception in December 1970. Under the program ‘Freedom Through Education’, CSRT 17 has built 16 schools with an investment of Rs 183 lacs imparting education to more than 5,000 children.
CSRT 17 is also the main head of the well-known publicity and fund-raising annual event- Airtel Run for Education. This year, they are going to host the 5th edition of the same and expected to have more than 8,000 footfalls.
Round Table India (RTI)
Round Table India (RTI) is a fellowship organization of young men involved in social services. RTI goes by the motto ‘Freedom Through Education’. The contribution of RTI in the field of providing education to the underprivileged is immense in the national level. RTI has successfully set up 2,588 recognized schools and built an infrastructure that impacts more than 6.8 million children all over India.
RTI has always been the standing pillar for CSRT 17 and one of the biggest supporters of Airtel Run for Education.
