Miss Pramila Jain, a yoga lover who was associated with Mystic Yoga as a trainee, started running small runs in the year 2013 in order stay fit. She currently works as an internal auditor in a private IPR firm in Kolkata.She started running small runs in the year 2013 in order stay fit.
In 2012, she met with an accident at Vizag and had injured her lumbar spine. The second innings of her life had started from that point when she decided not to lose confidence and started training herself for fast recovery. She ran her first marathon in the very first edition of Airtel Run Education Kolkata in the year 2013 in 10 km category and successfully completed it in 1 hour 5 minutes. Since then she decided to make running her only weapon to stay fit and healthy.
Miss Jain is the founder of Salt lake Runners groups and also associated with Kolkata Runners. She takes part in every run organized in the city of Joy and claims to be highly inspired by Mr. Sandip Madan of Kolkata Runners. In Pinkathon 2017, beside herself being a participant she has inspired 50 women to join the marathon and also got a water station for free at the event. She ran a trail run along with few other fellow runners and has completed six 10 km runs and two 21 km official runs. On an average, she runs 60 km per week.
She is a regular at our Promo runs of Airtel Run For Education 2017 and has taken the responsibility to spread awareness and inspire more and more people to join us in our run for a cause. We are glad to have such a responsible enthusiast with us and her efforts to make our world a better place is highly appreciated.
